| Abstrak | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Permintaan Cabai Merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen yaitu harga cabai merah, harga cabai rawit, jumlah anggota rumah tangga, pendapatan konsumen rumah tangga terhadap variabel dependen yaitu permintaan cabai merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan PurwokertoTimur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa data wawancara kepada pembeli cabai merah yang merupakan sumber data (responden) penelitian dilakukan Maret-April 2018 di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda, metode uji asumsi klasik, analisis Variance Inflation Factors (VIF), dan menggunakan uji statistik Durbin Watson. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukan bahwa, variabel harga cabai merah mempunyai hubungan yang negatif dengan variabel permintaan cabai merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto timur, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa naiknya harga cabai merah akan menurunkan permintaan cabai merah sebesar -44,5 kg (Menurun -17,870 dari rata-rata permintaan cabai merah sebesar 2,5 kg), sedangkan harga cabai rawit mempunyai hubungan yang positif dengan variabel permintaan cabai merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa naiknya harga cabai rawit akan menaikan permintaan cabai merah, jika terjadi kenaikan harga cabai rawit sebesar satu rupiah maka akan menaikan permintaan cabai merah sebesar 14,8 kg (Meningkat 5,957 persen dari Rata-rata permintaan cabai merah sebesar 2,5 kg). Variabel jumlah anggota keluarga mempunyai hubungan yang positif terhadap permintaan cabai merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur, jika bertambahnya satu orang dalam tiap keluarga maka akan menaikan permintaan cabai merah sebesar 0,7 kg (Meningkat 0,625 persen dari rata-rata permintaan cabai merah sebesar 2,5 kg). Serta terakhir variabel pendapatan keluarga, pendapatan keluarga mempunyai hubungan yang positif dengan variabel permintaan cabai merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur hal ini menunjukkan bahwa naiknya pendapatan keluarga akan menaikan permintaan cabai merah, jika terjadi kenaikan pendapatan keluarga sebesar satu rupiah maka akan menaikkan permintaan cabai merah sebesar 1,3 kg (Meningkat 0,540 persen dari rata-rata permintaan cabai merah sebesar 2,5 kg). Menurut hasil pengujian, variabel bebas yang paling berpengaruh bahwa nilai koefisien beta pada variabel harga cabai merah lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai koefisien beta pada variabel harga cabai rawit, jumlah anggota keluarga dan pendapatan keluarga. Hal ini bahwa secara statistik dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel harga cabai merah memberikan pengaruh paling besar terhadap permintaan cabai merah, sehingga hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa harga cabai merah mempunyai pengaruh paling besar terhadap permintaan cabai merah di Pasar Wage Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur diterima. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | ABSTRACT This research is titled as "The Analysis of Red Chilies Demand in Wage Market of Eastern Purwokerto District". The purpose of this research is to analize the influence of independent variables which consist of price of the red chilies, price of cayenne pepper, number of household member, and household income to dependent variable which is the demand of red chillies in Wage Market of Eastern Purwokerto District. The type of this research is qualitative research. This study uses primary data in the form of interview data which are collected from buyers of red chillies which is the source of data (respondents), this research is conducted on March until April 2018 in Wage Market Eastern Purwokerto District. The analysis tools which are used in this research are multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, variance inflation factor analysis (VIF), and Durbin Watson statistical test. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it shows that the red chilies price variable has a negative relationship with the red chillies demand in the Wage market, it indicates that the rising price of the red chilles will decrease the demand for the red chillies equal to -44.5 kg (decreased -17,870 percent of the average demand for red chilies which is 2.5 kg), while the price of cayenne pepper has a positive relationship with the red chilies demand variable in Wage market, it shows that the increase of the price of cayenne pepper will increase the demand of red chilies, if there’s a price increase of cayenne pepper equal to one rupiah, it will raise the demand of red chilies by 14.8 kg (increased 5,597 percent of the average demand of red chilles which is 2,5kg). The number of household members has a positive relationship to the demand of the red chillies in the Wage Market of Eastern Purwokerto District, if there’s an increaes of one person in household member, it will increase the demand of red chillies by 0.7 kg (increased 0.625 percent of the average demand of red chilles which is 2,5kg), and lastly household income variable has a positive relationship with the demand of red chillies in Wage Market of Eastern Purwokerto, this indicates that the increase of household income will also increase the demand of red chillies, if there is an increase of household income equal to one rupiah, the demand for red chilies will increase by 1.3 kg (0.540 times the average demand for red chilies by 2.5 kg). According to the test results, the most influential independent variable is the red chilies price, it is showed by the value of beta coefficient on red chillies price variable which is greater than the value of beta coefficients on the cayenne pepper price varriable, the number of household members varriable and household income varriable. Statistically, it can concluded that the variable of red chilies price has the greatest influence on the demand of red chilies, so the hypothesis stating that the price of red chillies has the greatest influence on the demand of red chilies in Wage Market of Eastern Purwokerto is accepted. |
