AbstrakKLB campak di Desa Prupuk Selatan pada bulan Oktober 2011 merupakan KLB campak yang muncul untuk pertamakalinya dengan jumlah kasus sebanyak 6 balita. Berdasarkan data dari Profil Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tegal, jumlah kasus campak di Kabupaten Tegal pada tahun 2011 adalah 12,3 per 100.000 penduduk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi campak pada balita (studi saat KLB di Desa Prupuk Selatan Kecamatan Margasari Kabupaten Tegal bulan Oktober tahun 2011). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kasus kontrol. Populasi kasus adalah penderita campak pada bulan Oktober tahun 2011 berjumlah 6 yang telah didiagnosis oleh petugas kesehatan dan populasi kontrol berasal dari populasi yang memiliki karakteristik sama dengan kasus akan tetapi didiagnosis oleh petugas kesehatan tidak menderita campak. Besar sampel seluruhnya adalah 30 balita terdiri dari 6 kasus dan 24 kontrol. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat (Chi square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan status imunisasi (p value: 0,000), riwayat kontak (p value: 0,000), dan kepadatan hunian (p value: 0,007, OR: 22,00 dan CI 95%: 2,364-204,759) dengan campak pada balita. Faktor yang tidak berhubungan dengan campak pada balita adalah status gizi, ventilasi rumah, lantai rumah, pendapatan responden dan pendidikan responden. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya KLB campak pada balita diantaranya para ibu diharapkan datang ke posyandu setiap bulannya untuk dilakukan penimbangan berat badan anak dan mengimunisasi anak mereka karena pencegahan dari penyakit campak kunci utamanya adalah dengan imunisasi.
Abstrak (Inggris)Measles outbreaks in Prupuk Selatan village on October 2011 was the first measles outbreaks with total cases as many as 6 children under five. Based on the data from the Profile on Health Office of Tegal, the number of measles case in Tegal Regency in 2011 was 12,3 per 100.000 population. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the measles in children under five (study of extraordinary outbreaks at the Prupuk Selatan Village on Margasari District, Tegal Regency in October 2011). The type of this research was control case. The case populations were measles patients in October 2011 amounted to 6 patients who had been diagnosed by health officer and the population controls were taken from the population that had the characteristics similar to the case but diagnosed by the health worker as negative to measles. The sample size was 30 children under five consisted of 6 cases and 24 controls. Data analysis was performed by univariate and bivariate (Chi square).The results showed that there were relationships between immunization status (p value: 0,000), contact history (p value: 0,000), and residential density (p value: 0,007, OR: 22,00 and CI 95%: 2,364-204,759 ) with measles in children under five. The factors that were not associated with measles in children under five were nutritional status, home ventilation, floor, respondent’s income and respondents’ education. The efforts that could be done to prevent extraordinary outbreaks of measles in children under five namely; mothers are expected to come to the posyandu every month to do children weighing and have their children immunized because the main key of the measles prevention is by immunization.
