| Abstrak | Latar Belakang : Hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko terbesar penyakit kardiovaskular, dimana tekanan darah sistole di atas 140 mmHg dan diastole di atas 90 mmHg. Salah satu penyebab hipertensi adalah tingginya kadar kolesterol dalam darah atau hiperkolesterolemia. Pengobatan hipertensi secara farmakologis memiliki cukup banyak efek samping, sehingga masyarakat banyak memilih pengobatan non farmakologis salah satunya adalah air seduhan daun alpukat (Persea americana Mill). Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh pemberian air seduhan daun alpukat terhadap tekanan darah sistolik dan kadar kolesterol total dalam darah pada pasien hipertensi di wilayah kerja PUSKESMAS II Purwokerto Utara. Metode : Penelitian ini bersifat pra eksperimen dengan metode pretest-postest one group without control design. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 35 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon pengaruh air seduhan daun alpukat terhadap tekanan darah diperoleh nilai: (p value= 0,000< α : 0,10), dan untuk pengaruhnya terhadap kolesterol total dalam darah diperolah nilai (p value= 0,000< α : 0,10) Dengan demikian Ha diterima, maka ada pengaruh pemberian air seduhan daun alpukat terhadap tekanan darah sistolik dan kadar kolesterol total dalam darah pada pasien hipertensi di wilayah kerja PUSKEMAS II Purwokerto Utara. Kesimpulan : ada pengaruh pemberian air seduhan daun alpukat terhadap tekanan darah sistolik dan kadar kolesterol total dalam darah di wilayah kerja PUSKESMAS II Purwokerto Utara. |
| Abstrak (Inggris) | Background: Hypertension is the biggest risk factor of cardiovascular disease, where the blood pressure systole over 140 mmHg and diastole above 90 mmHg. One of the cause hypertension is the high cholesterol levels or hypercholesterolemia. Treatment of hypertension in pharmacological have enough side effects, so a lot of people choose non pharmacological treatment of one of them is leaves avocado steeping water (Persea americana Mill). Purpose: To know is there any effect of avocado leaves steeping water on systole blood pressure and total cholesterol levels in hypertension patiens at PUSKESMAS II North Purwokerto work area. Method: This research had characteristic pre-experiment with pretest-posttest one group without control design method. Method to take sample used technique of purposive sampling with amount 35 respondents. Data analysis using statistics of test Wilcoxon. Result: Based on Wilcoxon test about the effect of avocado leaves steeping water on blood pressure get value (p value= 0,000< α : 0,10), and for the effect to the cholesterol levels get value (p value= 0,000< α : 0,10). So that’s way receive Ha, means there is effect of avocado leaves steeping water on systole blood pressure and total cholesterol levels in hypertension patiens at PUSKESMAS II North Purwokerto work area.
